Programs Offered

COME-N-TRY

Our Come-N-Try program is for beginners and includes a short introductory lesson, which provides you with the fundamentals of archery.

Fees are $20 for adults and $10 for Juniors (8 – 18 yrs). All necessary equipment is supplied as part of these fees, which are payable on the day by bank transfer or cash. No credit card or eftpos facilities are available at the Club.

Booking for up to 4 persons can be made here: https://www.trybooking.com/BXEFA.

There is a minimum age requirement of 8 years of age. Parents are advised to remain with their children at all times during the archery session.

You will need to wear enclosed shoes and, as all shooting is outdoors, it is suggested that you bring suitable protection against the weather, especially in summer. Sunscreen is available from the club and bottled water is available for $1.

We do cater for larger groups on request. A deposit of 50% of the shooting fee is required 1 week in advance. Please email the Club Secretary (see Contact us) for more information.

Please check our facebook site for wet weather cancellations on the day.

SUNDAY CASUAL SHOOT

Once you have completed our introductory lesson you are welcome to attend on a casual basis. Due to Archery Australia’s insurance conditions you must become a member after 4 casual attendances. You can become a member by following the instructions here. For financial members there is a shooting fee of $5 per attendance.

No additional training sessions are required. However some casual coaching is generally provided while people are shooting and you are welcomed to ask as many questions as you like of club officials and experienced archers.

Compound bows over 40lbs are restricted to the members range only and cannot be used on the Come-and-Try range.
